HAND WRITTEN NOTES

I may or may not have been called a pack-rat a time or two growing up…. or maybe 100 times is more like it! haha! Although most of those hoarding habits have disappeared over the years, I can’t seem to shake this one. Handwritten notes… I just can’t say goodbye. The time, the sentiment, the memories… I think I’ll keep them a while longer. :)

I’ve kept this particular box of letters for nearly ten years…
Notes my mom sent me in college, birthday cards, postcards, thank you notes, and (most cherished) letters from Beto!!
If you look close you’ll see the notes from Beto (top L) were written in 2003… when we first started dating!!

And, yes… I do have a collection of stationary, thank you cards, blank cards, etc.
I love giving handwritten notes as much as I love receiving them!

Who doesn’t love Papyrus and Paper Source? Too much pretty to pass by!
Beto gave me these cards+pretty box last year for my birthday.

Today there was a sweet surprise in my mailbox!! My sister sent me a handwritten thank you card & a set of her handmade cards!!
It was a perfect gift for a pretty-paper-loving girl like me!!

Alicia, you made my day… maybe even my week! Thanks for being so thoughtful!! :)

Emily - You’re a girl after my own heart! I’m a pack rat, too, and letters and cards are the hardest to part with. I found a TON of old letters this weekend while we were cleaning – it was so fun to read through them! I had completely forgotten how many encouraging notes my mom sent me during college. It’s nice to remember that – and to see her (and everyone’s) handwriting!

Lauren - Another awesome paper store…Paper Affair. There’s one up in Plano at Spring Creek and Preston, so its a ways from you, but if you’re in the area, it’d definitely be worth the stop!
